Senior Solution Developer

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Senior Solutions Developer, you will work closely with our development team on custom Power Platform solutions for our internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing new applications, doing research and proof of concepts (POCs) on complex and new features. This role will require a passion for learning, problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail to support our applications.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with clients/product owner/stakeholders and other internal users to gather and understand requirements for Power Platform projects.
  • Develop standalone Canvas PowerApps application using Microsoft Dataverse, Power Automate workflows and develop enhancement features for existing applications and fixing bugs.
  • Perform extensive testing in our applications to uncover any bugs and issues and to find resolution steps to fix them.
  • Design and develop architecture diagrams and high-level design (HLD) documents, along with comprehensive functional, technical, and deployment guides, to enable seamless handover and efficient knowledge transfer.
  • Establish best practices, governance and reusable frameworks.
  • Define architecture for PowerApps applications comprising Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and other integrations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform features and updates and continuously improve your skills to contribute to the team’s technical growth.
  • Work independently and lead technical initiatives.

 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Expertise in developing complex Canvas Power Apps applications and Power Automate workflows, with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive working experience with Microsoft Dataverse, along with a strong understanding of its capabilities.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for technology with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Preferred (not mandatory): Certifications such as PL-900, PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600.

Additional desirable skills:

 

  • Experience with Model-driven applications
  • Familiarity with Power Pages
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online
  • Experience with Power BI
