We are seeking for a highly motivated, independent professional to join our Corporate Recovery team. As part of the Corporate Recovery team, you will assist the team on restructuring and insolvency activities for the clients.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in the administration of corporate restructuring and insolvency engagements, which include liquidation, receivership, judicial management, scheme of arrangement, corporate voluntary arrangement. Other responsibilities include (list not exhaustive):
- Assist in the preparation of letters, notices, forms, emails and reports to officer, creditors, debtors, local authority and etc.
- Assist in the preparation of notices to be advertised in the local newspaper (including liaising with the advertising agent).
- Liaising with tax agents, auditors, accountants, officer of the company in coordinating the accounts, audit and tax filling.
- Assist in taking control of the business premises, assets, books and records, statutory records, and perform an analysis report.
- Liaising with property or assets or business valuer for valuation report.
- Assist in realisation of assets or properties or business.
- Recovery of debts.
- Assist in proof of debts exercise.
- Investigation of past transactions.
- Assist in the financial review and preparation of restructuring proposals.
- Attend meetings and preparation of minutes of meetings
- Clarifies issue(s) / problem(s) to be addressed and communicate clearly and timely to senior or manager.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Accountancy
- Minimum 1 year of experience (Associate) or 3 years of experience (Senior) in any accounting related, insolvency, restructuring and/or external audit.
- Good in written and oral in English Language and Malay Language.
- A strong team player.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
