IT Audit – Assistant manager-France

About the role, As an Assistant Manager within the national IT Audit team and reporting directly to the IT Audit
Managers and Senior Managers in Delhi (India) and UK, you will be responsible for delivering IT External Audit
focusing on Financial Services Banking but with opportunity to work in other sectors including Insurance and
Corporates. Client satisfaction is of paramount importance to us, and you will need excellent communication and
written skills, and an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. The key responsibilities as a Senior
Consultant in the National IT Audit team:
• Responsibility for executing day to day IT External Audit work on a number of clients based in London but also
working as part of a national practice on UK based clients. You will support your Managers/Senior Managers with
closing meetings with client management as well as supporting communication to core audit team and client,
ensuring all are kept fully informed on the progress of the work and any issues arising.
• Working on a broad range of clients within the Financial Services Banking sector, you would be expected to
contribute relevant skills and experience to the national practice as the need arises.
• To deliver work to the highest technical standards including ensuring the work is conducted in line with Forvis
Mazars Quality standards.
• Ensuring all work is undertaken to budget and meets client KPIs.
• To build and develop long term relationships with stakeholders across our client organisations as well as within
Forvis Mazars itself.
• Build and develop strong working relationships with the client, ensuring any problems or requests are dealt with
promptly.
• Maintain control and stability under pressure whilst recognising the deadline or urgency to be dealt with.
• Respond to the needs of the client and other team members.
• Clearly understand the wider service line capabilities of Technology & Digital Team and the wider firm and how
these may benefit your clients; and
• Ensure that the services provided are genuinely appropriate for the client; What are we looking for? • 2-4 years’
experience in IT Audit
• Experience of conducting IT external audit within Banking sector.
• Experience in performing ITGC reviews across a range of applications. Experience reviewing applications such as
Core Banking Systems, Mortgage and Loan origination, Front Office system, Middle Office systems and Back Office
systems would be an added advantage.
• Experience testing IT Automated Controls and IPEs.
• Knowledge or familiarity with operating systems such as Windows Server, Unix, and Linux and databases such as
SQL, Oracle, DB2.
• Experience of working on a portfolio of clients.
• Relevant experience of IT audit will be preferred. At this level, even if a candidate is not a CA but has
worked at other Big4/Big6 firms with exact experience as our profile can also be preferred.
• Experience of building and managing relationships.
• You will have or working towards or be willing to study towards relevant professional qualification such as CISA.

• Strong technical abilities in audit methodologies, combined with strong business acumen.
• Experience of identifying issues through sound technical analysis and application of commercial acumen in all
situations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills proven through report writing experience.
• Ability to express ideas with authority and conviction throughout verbal and written communication.
• The Technology & Digital Team also delivers services such as Cyber, Data Privacy, Forensics, Data Analytics
and IT Advisory. Therefore, experience of any of these service lines would be an advantage or an interest in
developing your skills in these services.
