HRIS Consultant

You will work on a range of transactions and processes supporting HR according to set operating procedures, policies, and service level agreements.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Support internal project management for Workday and other HRIS implementation projects, ensuring the successful configuration and customization of HR modules in Workday, and HR reporting and analytics (Prism)
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into HRMS/HRIS solutions:
    • Talent Management: Maintain modules such as HCM, performance, compensation, Advance Compensation, succession management, payroll, Absence, Reporting, and potentially learning management.
    • Talent Acquisition: ATS, chatbots and other relevant systems.
    • HR Master Data and Employee Life Cycle Transactions: Support the HR master data core model, including employee data management and HRIS administration.
    • Maintain data accuracy and compliance with HR policies and regulations.
    • Data Integration: Work with IT teams to integrate HRMS with other enterprise systems and platforms.
    • Troubleshoot data integration issues and ensure data consistency.
    • User Training and Support: Provide user training and support to HR and end-users in Workday HCM modules, including ESS and MSS.
    • Address and resolve user inquiries and issues.
    • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations/Workbooks, processes/ process Maps, and procedures/SOPs.
    • Create user manuals and training materials.
    • Reporting and Analytics: generate reports and analytics from HRMS systems to support HR decision-making.
  • General maintenance and support of HRIS platforms.
    • Identify opportunities for system improvements and collaborate with stakeholders to implement new functionality or modules.
    • Serve as an HRIS subject matter expert to support stakeholder organizations such as IT, payroll, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits
    • Generate HR reports and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making processes, workforce planning, and compliance requirements.
    • Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data by monitoring data quality, conducting regular audits, and resolving any discrepancies.

    As part of HR Shared Services, you will work on a range of P&C transactions covering the entire hire to retire employee lifecycle. These transactions and processes work according to set operating procedures, policies and service level agreements.

    You will gain knowledge and expertise from an end to end process perspective and how each activity impacts the overall business of an organisation.

Experience:

  • Should have substantial experience of 2+ years working with HRIS/HRMS systems like Workday, involved in system maintenance, implementation, integration and enhancements.
  • Experience in working as an administrator of different HRIS modules, especially Master data management/HCM and employee lifecycle transactions.
  • Excellent skills in Advance MS Excel including extensive reporting.
  • Experience in working on HRMS/Workday support projects would be an added advantage.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any specialization (B.Tech/B.E.), Computer Science (B.Sc), Business Administration (B.B.A/B.M.S), or Computer Applications (BCA).
  • A master’s degree, postgraduate diploma, or professional certification in Human Resources is a plus.
  • Preference for Workday certified functional consultants or someone who has been a part of Workday implementation teams or someone who has played the role of a Workday Administrator
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Passionate about HR technology and committed to continuous learning in a dynamic tech landscape.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively across functions.
  • Approachable, professional, and possessing a positive, can-do attitude.
  • A team player dedicated to supporting team goals and targets.
  • Flexible and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
