Consultant/ Assistant Manager- Risk Consulting and Assurance

Mazars India is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic B.Tech graduates to join our team as IT Audit (ITGC) Professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting IT general controls (ITGC) reviews for our clients across various industries and frameworks. Working closely with experienced professionals, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in the field of IT audit.

Location: Gurgaon

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with experienced professionals to identify IT risks and recommend effective remediation strategies.
• Assist in developing IT audit plans and testing procedures to ensure comprehensive and rigorous assessments.
• Conduct testing of IT controls and document the results of the evaluations.
• Prepare workpapers and reports for review by senior team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
• Stay up to date with the latest IT audit standards and industry trends, incorporating best practices into the audit process.
• Assist in conducting ITGC reviews for our clients, covering ERPs and homegrown applications.

Preferred Experience in:

• Consultant (> 2 years) and Assistant Manager (> 4 years)
• Proficient with IT risks and controls and preferred experience in ITGCs, ITACs, IPEs, SOX readiness/attestation and/or SOC1/SOC2/SOC3, HITRUST, HIPPA readiness, IT Due diligence, policy reviews for different frameworks reports, Compliance with the regulatory audits
• Familiarity with IT general controls (ITGC) concepts and standards such as COSO, COBIT, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, IT Act, ITIL and on Cybersecurity controls, ISO 27001, Privacy requirements Cloud technologies
• Conduct ITAC testing for Applications of key process such as Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Batch input processing and Financial Statement Close Process (FSCP).
• Review mapping of Key Duties, defined SOD rules, employee roles, evaluate the effectiveness of SOD controls and identify any potential weaknesses or violations
• Preferred exposure in auditing ERPs such as SAP and Oracle, along with supporting tools such as GRC, JIRA, and Service Now
• Preferred experience in client facing/consulting roles.
• For Assistant Manager, preferred experience of working on end-to-end management of the clients in terms of project execution, scoping, business development.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering a positive and supportive work culture.
• Familiarity with IT general controls (ITGC) concepts and standards such as COSO, COBIT, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, and ITIL is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001, CISA, CISSP, CISM or Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are preferred but not mandatory.
