Position Overview:
As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will be supporting the BD leader in building strong relationships with potential clients and positioning our firm’s services to address those needs effectively. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication, a deep understanding of the consulting industry, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
• Identify and qualify leads through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, and online platforms.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through effective prospecting and lead generation activities.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within target client organizations.
• Work towards achieving and exceeding business generation targets while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Proposal Development and Presentation:
• Collaborate with service line Partners to pursue specific targets.
• Work with internal teams to develop compelling and customized proposals that address client requirements.
• Make first-level presentations to prospective targets, effectively communicating the value proposition and benefits of our service offerings.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the consulting industry.
• Strong understanding of [industry/sector] and the ability to articulate complex solutions to clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
