About RMT:

Resource Management Team (RMT) is a team within our organization’s Audit department that is responsible for effectively and efficiently budgeting, allocating and optimizing human resources to support the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic individual to join our team as the Resource Management Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient allocation and utilization of resources across various projects within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in resource planning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

A). Budget Compilation/ Coordination

  • Collect budgetary data from different departments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand budgetary requirements and gather necessary information.

B). Resource Allocation:

  • Develop and implement resource allocation strategies to ensure optimal utilization of human resources.
  • Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Monitor resource utilization and adjust as necessary to meet project timelines and objectives.

C). Capacity Planning:

  • Conduct regular assessments of team capacities and capabilities to identify potential gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with department heads to forecast resource needs based on project pipelines and organizational goals.

D). Team Collaboration:

  • Foster strong communication and collaboration within the team and across other departments.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

E). Conflict Resolution:

  • Address and resolve conflicts related to resource allocation and ensure equitable distribution of resources.
  • Mediate discussions between project teams to facilitate effective resource sharing and coordination.

F). Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate regular reports on resource utilization, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and resource optimization.

G). Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance resource management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and tools to streamline resource allocation workflows.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including speaking and writing effectively in English.
  • Should have effective interpersonal, time management, facilitation, Prioritisation, and presentation skills.
  • Should have strong people management, project management, Leadership, coaching, counselling, and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in resource management, capacity planning, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
