About this position
Qualification: CA with around 5-6 years of post-qualification experience.
About the profile: The candidate would be a part of the Quality team entrusted with the overall responsibility of Quality Management at firm level.
Job Responsibilities: (With respect to Firm’s Quality Management Processes and related matters)
- Preparation of Quality Control Manuals/ Policies/ Procedures and ensuring its implementation across Assurance department including timely updation.
- Reviewing the ISQM1 controls at the firm level including designing and implementing new control on need basis.
- Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on the shortfalls identified in the resting of controls and working out a Remediation Plan for preventing recurrence of the deficiencies.
- Performing cold reviews on the statutory audit engagements.
- Research for the best present practices to be adopted by the firm.
- Working and coordinating with other service lines within the firm on the ISQM controls.
- Interacting/coordinating with the APAC quality team for firm’s various quality issues
- Educating the audit teams on the findings of the cold reviews for improving quality
Other Skills
- Basic knowledge of the standards on Quality Management
- Strong written and oral communication;
- Good knowledge of MS Excel;
- Good hands-on preparation of PPTs;
- Ability to work in a team.
Prior experience of working with the Quality Assurance team in an audit firm would be an added advantage.
