We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic professionals to join our Financial Advisory – Restructuring and Insolvency practice in Hong Kong.
What you can expect
As a member of our Restructuring and Insolvency practice, you will be involved in a wide range of restructuring and insolvency assignments, including corporate restructuring and reorganisation, liquidation, bankruptcy, receivership, and forensic accounting and litigation support.
This role provides hands-on experience in restructuring and insolvency proceedings matters across different industries and jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Directing and overseeing day-to-day management of engagements such as corporate liquidation, bankruptcy, receivership, restructuring and reorganisation, and forensic accounting and litigation support
- Leading comprehensive investigations into the financial affairs of companies and individuals
- Managing critical claims and queries from creditors and clients
- Directing and overseeing progress of engagements, including ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and deadlines.
- Reviewing and authorizing reports/documents to the Court, the Official Receiver and other stakeholders to comply with relevant statutory requirements.
- Coaching team members and mentoring them to develop advanced skills necessary in their roles
- Driving business and relationship development with current and potential clients.
Who we are looking for
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in restructuring and insolvency
- Bachelor’s degree or above in accountancy, economics, finance or business-related subjects
- Positive team player with strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Highly adaptable, able to work independently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Professional accounting qualification (such as HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is required
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
