The role
We are looking for a Senior Power Platform Developer who can independently design, architect, and deliver end-to-end solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform. You will be a key technical voice in project teams, shaping solutions from concept through to deployment, while working closely with business stakeholders based in the Netherlands and other European offices.
This is a high-visibility role that combines technical depth with cross-cultural collaboration. You will act as a senior contributor and day-to-day mentor for junior developers on the team.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build scalable Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards aligned to business requirements.
- Lead technical discovery and solution design sessions with business colleagues in the Netherlands.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, Azure services, and external APIs.
- Incorporate AI Builder and Copilot Studio capabilities into solutions to deliver intelligent automation.
- Ensure solutions meet security, governance, and compliance standards (including ISQM 1, ISO27001 and other standards relevance where applicable).
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to our Centre of Excellence standards.
- Collaborate closely with European team members across time zones, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Demonstrable experience building production-grade solutions independently.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Azure integration, and REST APIs.
- Experience working with European or international teams — familiarity with cultural and time-zone dynamics.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to a professional standard.
- PL-900: Power Platform Fundamentals
- Agile/Scrum certifications (PSM1, PSPO1 or similar)
