Job Description:

Participate in all phases of transfer pricing engagements, including planning, documentation, implementation, and audit defense.
Prepare and review Local Files, Master Files, and Country-by-Country Reports in compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
Actively engage in functional interviews, kick-off and closing meetings, and client discussions throughout transfer pricing projects.
Review intercompany agreements and internal documentation to ensure compliance and identify potential risks.
Perform benchmarking analyses and financial studies, including comparability adjustments.
Advise clients on transfer pricing and tax strategies, optimizing business models and operational structures.
Collaborate with Forvis Mazars’ international network on cross-border transfer pricing projects.
Support transfer pricing defense activities and assist in negotiating Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs).
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Assist managers in business development initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Law, or Corporate Finance. Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, Transfer Pricing Certificates) are an advantage.
Minimum 2 years of experience in transfer pricing or international taxation.
Solid understanding of transfer pricing principles, Vietnam’s regulations, OECD Guidelines, and BEPS framework.
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret financial data for transfer pricing analyses.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and Vietnamese tax regulations is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple engagements effectively.
A proactive team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
