Senior Data Analyst – Innovation

The senior data analyst will be part of strategic initiative to build and maintain dashboards and
analytics platform to support data driven decision making in the organization. He/She may have to
contribute on building data driven products and external client consulting.
He /She will work alongside a team of analytics engineers, data analysts, data engineers to
evaluate the current use cases across the organization, define the data platform design including
the logical/conceptual data model, data mappings, and other platform documentation.

Roles & Responsibilities 

•  You will envision, design, build and maintain solutions based on requirements
• You will provide senior-level technical leadership, guiding and mentoring internal teams to
ensure sustainable execution.
• Additionally, you will cultivate a knowledge-sharing culture by mentoring junior team members
and leading internal workshops, fostering continuous learning within the organization.
• You will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, translating complex technology
architectures and decisions into clear, actionable insights tailored to a business audience

Person Specification

• At least 5 years of experience in working with Data Projects
• Previous experience in a similar role within a professional service organisation preferred
• Experience in working with HR tools like Success Factor and financial tools like Anaplan will be
preferred
• Strong experience in working with Azure data platform tools like Power BI, ADLS, Key Vault,
Azure SQL, Azure Synapse etc.
• Experience in using Power BI Desktop, Gateway, and Power BI Service for creating dashboards
and reports
• Knowledge on various licensing models in Power BI
• Strong knowledge in DAX and Power Query
• Strong SQL, relational modelling, and dimensional modelling skills
• Knowledge on Data Lake, Data Warehouse and Lakehouse architecture
• Experience in building Azure data analytics solutions with DevOps (CI/CD) approach.
• Experience in Python and Databricks is necessary
• Excellent problem solving, quantitative and analytical skills.
• Team player, excellent communication skills
• Experience with other tools like Erwin, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker etc will be considered
