Manager / Senior Manager – Transport & Logistics Consulting

Mazars in India is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic team as a Manager / SM in the Transport & Logistics Consulting practice. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage consulting engagements in the transport and logistics sector, including but not limited to supply chain optimization, logistics strategy development, network design, transportation planning, and operational excellence.
• A doer who can roll up her/his sleeves to get the quality job done in the stipulated time.
• Provide strategic guidance and innovative solutions to clients to address their complex business challenges in the transport and logistics space.
• Lead and mentor a team of consultants, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and the growth of team members.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
• Conduct detailed analysis and research to identify industry trends, market opportunities, and best practices in transport and logistics.
• Collaborate with other practice areas within Mazars India to leverage expertise and deliver integrated solutions to clients.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including preparing proposals, participating in client meetings, and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes, technological advancements, and emerging trends in the transport and logistics sector to provide proactive advice and insights to clients.
• Travel as needed to client sites and project locations, both domestic and international, to oversee & execute project implementation, conduct client meetings, and engage in business development activities.
• Can do attitude and ability to work in ambiguous environments

Qualifications:

• Masters’ degree in business, analytics or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience for Manager level and 8 years for SM level in a reputed consulting firm or strategy function of a company in the transport logistics, supply chain space.
• Proven track record of successfully leading consulting engagements and delivering tangible results for clients in the transport and logistics sector.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data, develop insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve common goals.
• Prior experience in supporting business development, including identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and closing deals, is desirable.
• Knowledge of industry-specific tools and software related to transport and logistics consulting is an advantage.
