What You Can Expect
- Gain hands-on experience in conducting IT audits across general and application controls, network security, and cybersecurity.
- Assist in IT-related risk assessments covering areas such as cybersecurity, IT governance and strategy, IT operations, business continuity and disaster recovery, network and infrastructure security, cloud and third-party risk, automation, IT general controls (ITGC), IT application controls (ITAC), and regulatory compliance.
- Develop a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, databases, and security; identify improvement opportunities and propose recommendations.
- Leverage data analytics to enhance audit processes across major business cycles.
- Collaborate with audit engagement teams to understand the client’s accounting processes, policies, and system data flows relevant to analytics procedures.
- Assist IT audit teams in preparing ITGC & ITAC engagement workpapers aligned with Forvis Mazars methodologies.
- Support and assist in SOC 2 Type II audit engagements.
- Participate in kickoff, status, and closing meetings, and contribute to building our technology risk knowledge base and internal practice development initiatives.
- Travel internationally and locally for IT audit assignments.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; up to 1–2 years of IT audit experience in audit or consulting is an advantage.
- Exposure to IT risk or IT compliance functions is a plus.
- Strong written and presentation skills in English.
- Logical thinker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to travel (more than 50%) and ability to work diligently under pressure.
