Job Descriptions
Audit & Assurance
- Participate in the briefing of the audit engagement team.
- Adhere to up to date SSA or applicable framework, the Revised Singapore Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics and, relevant legislation and regulatory changes.
- Perform audit procedures to meet the objectives of internal or external audit engagements.
- Assist to evaluate the audit evidence obtained.
- Contribute to identifying and resolving audit issues.
- Investigate inconsistencies arising from audit work.
Financial Advisory (Deals Advisory/Transaction Services)
- You will support professional staff to perform work in the transaction services / M&A.
- Assist with work duties such as data extraction from various sources (e.g. financial statements, management accounts, etc.)
- In charge of conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis to assess the impact on the transaction parameters.
- Partake and support in the report writing / presentation materials on assigned projects using Forvis Mazars’ internal tools.
Financial Advisory (Valuation)
- Perform market and industry research;
- Develop financial models to value private companies;
- Identify and value intangible assets for financial reporting, tax or M&A purposes;
- Analyse if the financial projections are reasonable by comparing against appropriate benchmarks;
- Assist in the preparation and delivering of high quality valuation reports in accordance with relevant international valuation standards and/or financial reporting standards.
Financial Advisory (Restructuring & Insolvency)
- Assist the team in analysing historical financial performance
- Assist in conducting financial analyses, financial statements review and assess business performance
- Gather relevant data and information to support the development financial restructuring plans
- Assist to prepare documents for sales of distressed assets
- Research and gather information on legal entity structure of clients
- Assist in drafting correspondence to clients with creditors during restructuring or insolvency
- Support team with judicial management, receiverships and liquidations
- Gather relevant data and information to develop a proposal and/or scheme of arrangement
- Assist to prepare business proposals and pitch documents
- Assist with correspondence with creditors for entities under administration
Financial Advisory (Forensic Services)
- Assist the team in fraud investigations and other forensic engagements
- Perform background checks on relevant parties
- Review documents and prepare summary of findings
- Apply data analytical techniques to identify anomalies in the data set
- Support the project team with the preparation of deliverables
- Execute assigned tasks in the fraud risk identification and fraud risk assessment exercises

Financial Services Consulting
- Support internal audit engagements in accordance with audit procedures and applicable frameworks on governance, risk management and control
- Work with the team to identify risk of threats to independence
- Assist in the documentation organisation’s internal controls and business processes and policies
- Support the team in providing advice and business insights to the organisation by identifying opportunities and making recommendations for change
- Support for AML/KYC operations in projects for clients in the Financial Services/Fintech/Payment Services industry
- Searching for and critically analyzing the collected information and ensuring compliance with internal and external laws and regulations
Management Consulting
- To assist in the preparation of resources utilized in financial management consultancy projects
- To assist in conducting insightful local and overseas market research for internationalization project
- To provide administrative support in formulating key strategies and business roadmaps based on information gathered from research conducted
- Prepare questions used to gather information from clients and prepare minutes of meetings during periodic presentations and meeting
- To provide assistance in other consultancy tasks including the drafting of client’s proposal, presentation slides and other miscellaneous tasks
Outsourcing (Accounting)
- Under the guidance of your Senior, develop your understanding of the: business model, drivers of financial performance and accounting and tax risks for each of the clients in your portfolio;
- Support in the preparation of financial statements
- Support in the preparation of GST returns and assist with tax compliance matters;
Outsourcing (Payroll)
- Under the guidance of your seniors, develop your understanding of the payroll structure and components.
- Assist and support the payroll processing and recording of client’s payroll.
- Assist in daily data entry and any other related payroll processing procedures.
- Assist and support the team in the preparation of monthly payroll reports.
Outsourcing (Corporate Secretarial)
- Assist the team in handling corporate secretarial works for a portfolio of international clients including but not limited to incorporations of companies, registration of foreign branches, striking-off of companies, drafting directors/members resolutions, application of work passes, maintenance of statutory registers and records, etc.
- Handling, preparing, coordinating and updating all necessary files, records and documents as required.
- Assist in preparing and handling necessary documents and paperwork for statutory filing with ACRA, MOM, IRAS and other local/regional government bodies.
- Supporting and assisting in all administrative and support for Client on-boarding or KYC review procedures.
- Supporting and handling any other corporate secretarial work or ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Risk Consulting
- Work closely with the engagement teams in the areas of audit planning, data analysis, conducting interviews or document control designs for the process-in-scope;
- Perform audit testing in accordance with audit work programme and report drafting;
- Deliver assignments to a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction;
- Participate and support internal meetings, including sharing of recommendations or improvement opportunities, taking notes and minutes.
Sustainability
- Work closely with the team in the areas of conducting due diligence reported for sustainability reporting;
- Carry out quantitative work relating to emission calculations
- Work with the team on brainstorming Sustainability strategies for clients with best practices / requirements;
- Deliver assignments to a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction;
- Participate and support internal meetings, including sharing of recommendations or improvement opportunities, taking notes and minutes.
Tax
- Extract and analyse financial/tax data and understand the business operation to identify potential tax risks of a target.
- Assist in the preparation of assessment of tax computations for individuals, companies, or other entities with more complex tax affairs.
- Assist in preparing reports, in particular for tax due diligence or reviewing sales and purchase agreements to meet the tight turnaround time.
- Assist the team in tax research/preparatory work.
- Assist with GST compliance work, which involves preparation and/or review of clients’ GST returns prior to submission, GST registration, exemption and schemes.
- Assist to draft clients’ responses for IRAS queries.
Human Resources
- Participate in recruitment efforts, including campus and internship recruitment.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with shortlisted candidates, including administering of technical and personality tests.
- Perform first level of screening of candidates’ CV to identify suitable candidates to fill job vacancies.
- Post and housekeep job advertisements on job boards.
- Assist in gathering market salary information and perform salary benchmarking exercise.
- Prepare and send rejection emails to candidates.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation programme for new employees.
- Updating of HR database by inputting new employee employment details.
- Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.

- Website maintenance:
- Support the team in creating and updating content for the company website.
