Purpose Responsible for the acquisition of new assignments of low complex caliber and starts building up long-lasting client
relationships in which the junior manager actively starts working on gaining the role of a Trusted Business Advisor. This
function bears the responsibility for assignments of low complex caliber for accurate, efficient and correct delivery of the
operational side of client assignments
Organizational position Reports to the (senior) manager or director
Job requirements · At least qualified at HBO (AA) or WO level in the field of accountancy
· Approximately 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of accountancy
· Experience with guiding and supervising assistants
Performance areas Tasks KPA
Project execution · Implements an assignment of low complex caliber with minimal
supervision, delegates work towards assistants and leads smaller scale
projects in order to ensure successful delivery of the assignment
· Demonstrates an understanding of client business and uses technical skills
to propose appropriate solutions to meet client needs
· Identifies and links client needs to Mazars’ offerings and contributes to
tenders
· Starts building long-lasting client relationships
· Actively starts working on the acquisition of the role of Trusted Business
Advisor towards the client
· Acquires new assignments among existing and potential new clients
· Guides and coaches the assistants in their work and further development
· Actively works on the improvement of processes and tools in order to
increase the efficiency and quality of the assignment
· Contributes to assignment management (suggested approach, staffing,
timetable, work schedule), follows assignment progress outside of
operational time and manages time between several assignments
· Draws up simple quotations for small assignments
