AOS, Payroll Intern

About the team

The Accounting Advisory and Outsourcing Service (AOS) team provides professional accounting, payroll and tax support services to foreign-invested companies in Korea. The Payroll team manages payroll processes of our clients based on their understanding of domestic labor and employment laws. Through this, they play a role in substantially supporting the client’s overall HR operations. In addition, we provide accurate and consistent services through our global platform and professional talent, offering flexible and stable solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day payroll and other payroll-related tasks, including personal income tax and the 4 major social insurances.

  • Conduct research related to payroll and labor laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Prospective graduates with 1 semester or less remaining are eligible to apply)

  • Native-level proficiency in Korean
  • Professional business English communication skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Proficiency in data utilization (Python, SQL, etc.)
  • Majors in Business Administration, Accounting
  • Ability to utilize Excel for business tasks
  • Strong interest in HR roles, particularly in the payroll / compensation field
  • Experience in customer service roles

Working conditions

  • Employment type: Internship / Full-time
  • Contract period: 2 months (Expected start day: July 1, 2026)
  • Working hours: Flexible commuting system through shifts
  • Location: Yongsan-gu, Seoul
