Senior Manager / Manager – Audit and Assurance

Position: Senior Manager / Manager – Audit & Assurance (International assignments)

Experience: 5–8 years post qualification

Qualification:

• UG: Any graduate

• PG: Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise external audit engagements across diverse clients.

• Oversee large to medium-scale, multi-location assignments.

• Identify opportunities for business development and contribute to expanding the client base.

• Effectively prioritise tasks, manage multiple assignments, and navigate ambiguity.

• Ensure compliance with the firm’s Quality and Risk Management procedures.

• Lead and motivate a team of Managers, Assistant Managers, Executives, and Audit Assistants, ensuring delivery of high-quality work.

• Mentor and guide team members in their career development.

• Collaborate with other managers for optimal deployment of audit staff.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, adapting to varying work environments.

• Meet challenging client requirements and deliver exceptional service.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

• Support international audit engagements in collaboration with global teams.

• Coordinate effectively with shared service centres and manage complex, multi-location business environments.

• Exhibit strong coordination skills when working across time zones with international teams.

Desired skills & expertise

• In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards.

• Working knowledge of IFRS.

• Strong understanding of Auditing Standards, including clarified ISAs.

• Familiarity with statutory compliance under laws such as the Income Tax Act and Sales Tax.

• Experience in managing audits of listed entities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong interpersonal, risk management, facilitation, and presentation skills.
